What is the best Dual SLI configuration for a 680i motherboard and 26" monitor?

What is the best Dual SLI configuration for a 680i SLI motherboard and a 26" inch IPS monitor??

Reason for this is that I am stuck with a 680 board and I also want to use its full potential with its SLI slots and a 26" inch IPS monitor? *reason for sticking with NVIDIA and not using ATI* not being a fanboy, just want to make use of all its PCI-E 16x slots

Please no ATI suggestions, just whats the best Dual SLI Configuration for price/performance on this motherboard and 26"ich Monitor with 1900x1200res?

2 GTX280s

or

2 GTX260s

or

2 9800GX2s

or

2 9800GTX+s

The most powerful would be 2 9800GX2's, but in terms of performance / dollar I would go 2 9800GTX's. The GTX260's prices are dropping though so those might be your best bet pretty soon.

The 260's are getting down to $300 and might go lower.
