About to buy some christmas gifts, I dont know much about their albums (although most of the cat stevens songs i have heard are excellent, dont care for the counting crows, but hey, not buying this stuff for myself), need some advice.

U2 has a greatest hits collection, if you're getting it for someone else. Joshua Tree is pretty popular also.

For Counting Crows: Films About Ghosts: The Best Of... (with bonus track). AFAIK, that's their only CD that has Accidentally In Love on it. Best song they ever did.

That is an awesome CD. So many good songs.

Counting Crows...

August and Everything After... not bad.

My favorite is Hard Candy... I LOVE IT. The title track is not so great, but all the rest of the songs are really really good. Especially if you can get the cut with "4 White Stallions" on it.

Here is what i bought:

Cat Stevens: Greatest Hits
U2 Best of 1980-1990
CC: August and Everything After

Thanks guys for the advice.
