What is the best Counting Crows album after "August and Everything After"?

Have to buy my mom a Mother's day gift. She loves The Counting Crows, but she only has one of their albums, "August and Everything After". Does The Counting Crows have any albums as good as this one?

Several people that I know have said "Recovering the Satellites" is a solid album, but I wanted to hear your thoughts.

While not as good as their debut, Recovering the Satellites is still a good CC album. Do you think she'd like their greatest hits album? It's kinda weak, but it does give you the best songs from each CD.

Most bands don't have an album as good as "August and Everything After".

I never cared much for their other albums, and "Across A Wire: Live" flat out sucked.

there isnt one...get her something else...

they are not the counting crows anymore...they aptly renamed themselves to the WHINING Crows
