As for my favorite computer games, you can't really compare games of different genres:

RTS: StarCraft (WarCraft III is only good for DotA! That's right, you heard me! )
SP FPS: Half-Life (soon to be Half-Life 2, if I'm not mistaken)
MP FPS: Counter-Strike
RPG: Fallout 2

Loderunner would have to take the crown though. Talk about taking the puny hardware of the day and making an addictive game out of it!

Other good ones: Modem Wars, Battle Chess, Turrican (C= version), Half Life, and Worms!!!
