Ok tell me what is the best cd rom in the market right now? I want to buy one but I don't want to buy Kenwood so any other brand out there that somebody can recommend me? Thanks

Plextor UltraPLEX 40 Max is a good Drive. Cheap as well, SCSI though. Are you after IDE or SCSI?

I recommend Acer, cheap, fast, quiet, high readability. Pioneer is also my top pick, but thats if you still find their CD-ROMs.
 
Asus and Teac are good for me. I had an Acer 50x that I hated. Loud and wouldn`t read the disks half the time.
