What is THE BEST case

those arent cases. those are case brands/types. thermaltake makes crappy products. antec makes the best overall, cooler master, silverstone, and lian-li makes the highest quality. it all depends on what you like best. my fav case maker is cooler master, though the lian-li pc-v1000 is currently my fav.

I would give previous cases by Thermaltake mixed reviews, but the Tsunami Dream rocks. The temperature in my setup, at load, never goes past 75-77 degrees, which is the best internal temp I've had with a stock, out-of-the-box case. At 420W, the power supply doesn't quite cut it, so I'm going to put an OCZ PowerStream 520W in there. Besides that, it's a great case.

well, i happen to have a 35.00 dollar cheapy...have had no problems with heat(and it looks pretty cool)...it all depends on what direction the case fans are blowing...some in some out...i think i have 3 in and 2... out not counting power supply(out)

Good answer. 🙂 And you're absolutely right. It doesn't matter how much it costs as long keeps the system cool, and doesn't sound like an F-14 taking off.

I mean, honestly, does anyone REALLY care what the case looks like while you're smokin' fools in Half-Life 2.

People who criticize Thermaltake have never owned one.
Although I love my Tsunami Dream. I would have to say Cooler Master makes a very strong case for the best cases and I love their designs too.

I have also owned Antec and Enermax. I'm luke warm to those brands.

We dont own one because we dont like them. you dont have to own something to know if you like or dislike it. we're all techies here. we all know things before we buy them. though i'm not really attacted to the tsunami case, i do find that to be thermaltakes most decent case. all the others are crappy, ugly, and etc. they make pretty junky psu's. thermaltake are known for not being the best, but are also known for not being the worst.

Tt doesn't make PSUs they put a bandaid over them and claim em 😛

Tt makes some good things, heatsinks namely. Their quality is above par for most case makers.

Actually you don't know before you buy. I at first hated the Tsunami but then I saw it in person and WOW I was amazed. And as said before, 99% of people who bash Thermaltake have never owned one. I bet you though, some anti Thermaltake person will read this and make up something by saying, "Oh yes I've actually owned one and it sucks!" even though they have not. Thermaltake is a very good brand.
