I need to find a good case that somehow allows access to my socket a processor.

I.E. - Swapping out processors and HSF units without having to remove the MB from the case.

I hear the antec is a good case - what about access to the socket a?

perhaps I need a case with a removeable mb tray?

BTW- my mb is an abit kt-7 raid with the socket near the top ( current case doesn't allow enough room to get above the socket to unlatch the hsf.

Thanks

Actually, you probably won't want to be doing that if you have a KT7*-****. the clips are on the top and bottom sides, VERY hard to get at. I always pull out my mobo tray when I wanan get my heatsink off.

Another vote for the Antec's they are great cases with plenty of room to work and great cooling

About two weeks ago I replaced the FOP32-1 hsf on my KT7-R mb, with a Taisol CGK hsf ........
The Taisol is a large, bulky unit and I can't remember having any real access problems inside my Fong Kai 320 case ..............
The whole thing went easier than I anticipated ..................I did however turn the case on its side (w/all cables attached), for leverage and easier access .............

The Socket A positioning on the Abit Kt7-xx is the only real criticism of the board lay-out that I have read or heard ............

It's really no big deal to remove the ps screws and just flop the unit out of the way, leaving everything attached, to gain access to any case you choose .............
