What is the best BIOS to use for the A7V rev 1.02 board?

The title says it all really.

I'm running 1004C at the moment and I'm wondering should i upgrade to something in the 1005 series or the new 1006? I have 128mb pc133 Hyundai RAM.....It's Cas3 i'd assume so i don't think those new memory implementation things in 1006 should affect me but i don't know.

My manual says v1.02, that means i have board 1.02 right? i don't know. Anyway, 1004 was unstable for me. 1005a worked well except for direct3d apps. However, I've heard that for 1.02 and before you shouldn't use 1005a, or 1004. Instead use 1003 or 1005d.
So, last night i swicthed to 1006. Played deus ex for a an hour or two and everything seemed ok.

I use the same board. I also use BIOS 1006 and have experienced no problems, lockups, etc. Runs ultra stable and fast in my Win2k

the manual revision doesnt mean the motherboard revision ( i dont think.) to find the motherboard revision look on the actual motherboard between the last and the second to last pci slots.

Yes Boonesmi is right, I have a rev 1.1 manual but it says rev 1.2 between my PCI slots

mostly what you all are describing sounds like memory problems, set cas to 3,2,2

tpetre4322 can you confirm that the halt command is put back in with that bios 1006 mod? does it work and are you using it?
