I'm looking at getting the ABIT KT7 motherboard and was thinking of getting the Thunderbird 800mhz. Does the 700mhz OC just as well?

Should I save my money and get a Duron x00mhz???

Thanks for the input.

(I'm wanting to get over 900mhz)

If it were up to me I'd get a Duron 600 and clock it as high as possible. As for Athlons, as long as you get a thunderbird you should have very similar overclocking results. They are all manufactured on a 0.18u process so they are in theory the same core. Save where you can is my advise.

There is a good combo at pcnut. They are sellin an overclocked 750 t-bird and a it is supposed to run at 1050 to 1100. It also comed with Mushkin high performance ram ver. 2. It comes with the kt7 raid and for like 15 bucks more you can get an fop 38 with artic silver already applied. The whole deal is lke $610 (I think).
