What is the best AMD CPU for me????

I'm going to build a new computer mainly for:

Gaming, Video/audio editing and Website design.

I just about have enough for a AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4800+ but is it worth the money???

Get the 4400+ it will easily overclock 200mhz(4800+ speed) and save you several hundred dollars. And its the same Toledo core with 1mb L2 cache.

That would be my recommendation if you have the cash.

That sounds like the best thing to do. But I've never overclocked before and it sounds hard. Is overclocking hard or does it just take time and patience???

Not hard at all.

its easy, and for a 200MHz overclock, requires almost no patience

even if you don't o/c the pricetag for the xtra 200Mhz is not worth it.
