What is the best air cooling solution for AM3 socket 8 cores?

Hello, I am building a custom PC for my friend, and need a heatsink that is AM3 compatible, but rated for 8 core cpus.

I have looked online for over 2 houses, and just can't seem to find the right heatsink.

Here is the motherboard and CPU I am building his PC from.

MOBO

CPU
http://www.amazon.com/AMD-FX-8150-Ed...3559647&sr=1-6

I really want to stay away from liquid cooling, as that is beyond my technical expertise.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advanced! 😉

"Best"? need moar info. quiet? or cool? what case is it in (size constrants)? is he gonna be overclocking? personal preferences on top down or tower? budget?

I'd probly be of little use anyway, I'm a boring little sod & only use stuff from the Noctua range.

People around here seem to love the coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus.

Edit: ...love 212+ for the price/performance

youre building a custom PC with Bulldozer?

first off, that build will probably be terrible IMHO (along with everyone here besides a few AMD diehards)

and if you dont take the above advice, just go with the A70 or 212
