Sad thing is 8 years ago a lot of places tried to just that, create an audio sand-box. They all failed. Just goes to show how being in the right place at the right time means a lot.

Live365 comes to mind.

Peopple have tried this and they all failled because it is too hard to distinguish copyrighted stuff.

But I loved the excuses that there were plenty legitimate stuff on Napster.
