The Viking Saga

We icelanders have made some viking movies in the past and they have been quite bad IMHO, but then some idiot in hollywood starts to think its a good idea to make a hollywood viking movie. First of all he gets some long haired blond bodybuilder to play the leading role, so we have a typical hero. Then its the fiction of use of magic, somehow the vikings had a "magic" sword, a big lie. Then its the master who teaches fabio the bodybuilder to fight, the master teaches him some trick about catching a spear and throwing it back at the enemy, ok, then when fabio fights the evil guy then he kills him in slow motion by trowing mr. evil guys spear back at him.

THAT MOVIE IS THE WORST EVER.

I remember "Tess", with Nastassia Kinski? It was a very strange movie - if I have a stomachache when it's over, it usually means it was a bad film and that one gave me a stomachache.

Worst movie I've seen...Meatballs 3. And Meatballs 2. Why I went to see 3 after seeing 2 is a mystery.

I absolutely hated Indecent Proposal. I don't know about it being the worst one I've ever seen, I'm sure there was some fine acting in it. But the whole principle behind that movie made me want to strangle the guy who wrote it. Hey Isla, I saw Liquid Sky at the Sydney Film Festival when it first came out. You have too admit you can't fault the plot though - Aliens are steeling the life force out of people as they orgasm. Well it was something like that, its over 15 years since I've seen the film.

My ex dragged me to see "Hope Floats" w/ Sandra Bullock. Ugh. What a lame movie. I think the only excitement that came from the movie was afterwards when my ex and I started to argue at how bad the movie was. Damn I miss her! She could argue with the best of them.
