What is that book?

Hey guys what is that book about a guy who sells his house and car and everything, donates the money to charity, goes to live in the wilderness and shows up dead and emaciated in an abandoned bus 4 months later?

I think he was trying to be like Throeu or Emerson and live in the wilderness with nature or something?

Heh... I know someone who did that... didn't show up dead afterwards though, but in Manchester(UK). Which, to some people, isn't much of a difference.
