Hmmm....do rolling papers or bongs say "for tobacco only" or something like that?

(I truly don't know but it was the only thing that came to mind)

well, tons of people use rolling papers to make their own cigarettes.

I don't think there is an industry that makes sure glass pipes are "properly labeled," though. Whenever you see a sign taped above the glassware that says "For tobacco use only," that is the initiative of the merchant, not so much the manufacturers. Though, a lot of those pieces come from local, small-time individuals.

I use a metal ear spoon to get the wax out. It's just so satisfying. Gotta be careful though.

I use them every day to get the excess water out of my ear. Can't stand water in my ear.

KT

Me as well.

Crap, that reminds me, I ran out this morning and forgot to get more at the grocery store this evening. Tomorrow morning's shower is gonna suck!

holy crap, your picture looks like a bloody q-tip with a crank on the end!

i love q-tip brand cotton swabs, nobody does it better. certainly not brands with a flimsy hollow plastic tube and barely any cotton. any doctor should tell you "don't put anything smaller than your elbow in your ear" but the feeling of water or wax in my ears drives me nuts.

The Target brand is just as good.

Anyhow, cotton swabs are excellent at cleaning nostrils...minimizing allergens from getting push up.

I don't follow the "getting water out of my ears" thing. Can't you just, you know, tilt your head to the side when you're still in the shower?

Maybe I have superior ears, but I've never had that problem except after swimming in a pool or something.

I think they have to have that warning for liability reasons. It should really be treated like "don't jam this really deep into your ear, bro"

and while keeping the outside parts of your ears clean is a good idea, a bit of wax deep in the canal is healthy and beneficial... it protects your eardrums so that you're not completely deaf when you get older.

Do you stick lube in your ear canals?

Even if you use these to "clean" your ears, you should probably at least once a year get some wax dissolving solution like mentioned. Anyone who uses IEMs knows that no matter how clean you think your ears are, they're still gonna get wax all over them.

Also, if you mention ear candles I hope you burn to death after falling asleep and knocking it over.

I think Q-tips are probably one of the least of our worries as far as ear damage goes. Cranking shitty music to eardestroying levels on shitty speakers/headphones is a far greater problem.

On the flipside, I can't wait until modern medical industry starts to do for hearing damage what they've done for eyes. People will freak the fuck out if they could hear to even 20kHz reliably, let alone if we start pushing our abilities higher. I don't know how the hell dogs and other animals can deal with modern world's noises. Or smells for that matter. Simple minds I guess.

Fuckin' this. I use a QTip soaked in Hydrogen Peroxide on my ears a few times a week. I then use the other end to dry the canals out when I'm done.

Do small beads of water roll out like melted buttah?

Where are they rolling out so far from? Do you like, hold the shower head directly against your ear for minutes straight?

What little doesn't come out with a simple head tilt will dry within minutes...

It's stupid to put anything in your ear canal. Five million years of evolution and then people decide it's a good idea to start shoving cotton into every available orifice.

250,000 years.

Also evolution isn't fast enough. I need to run faster, see better, and get a longer penis.

Had to use add-ons to get two out of the three.
