I don't follow the "getting water out of my ears" thing. Can't you just, you know, tilt your head to the side when you're still in the shower?
Maybe I have superior ears, but I've never had that problem except after swimming in a pool or something.
I think they have to have that warning for liability reasons. It should really be treated like "don't jam this really deep into your ear, bro"
and while keeping the outside parts of your ears clean is a good idea, a bit of wax deep in the canal is healthy and beneficial... it protects your eardrums so that you're not completely deaf when you get older.
