What Is TechNet Standard "no operating system"

No operating system mean no Windows 7, 8, XP????

I think that is the required field in Amazon for the OS for software. They set it to "No operating system" because technet doesn't install.

No they don't expire. It just means you are breaching the licence agreement if you use keys from an expired account. The keys don't expire though.
