Check your motherboard documentation for compatability, or go to www.crucial.com and plug in your system information and they will give you a list of compatable ram. If you can use sdram, you probably should. If you want a deal try here first; Crucial Web Promo

Generally Synch RAM is another name for SDRAM, the type of RAM most commonly used at the moment. Synch RAM is a shortened form for Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory...basically SDRAM.
