Actually I was just hoping to spark some interesting commentary on why there is such an interest in the Sexual preferance of cartoon characters in the media these days. This article was printed in the Wall Street Journal of all places. On the front page, I believe, nonetheless. And I'm straight, not gay..... not that there anything wrong with being gay....

To have a sexual preference, you either would need a penis or a vagina. None of the characters on that show (except maybe that squirrel) has either one. Spongebob is nonsexual.

 

So by your reasoning, if I take an ax and cut off my "WooHoo', I become nonsexual ?

But, Have you ever seen the intro to the show? Spongebob's pants are removed, and he covers his crotch area with his hands - suggesting that their has to be some kind of "private" part down there

No, I think he was assumin that Spongebob was never designed with sexual parts, so therefore is asexual But, yes, if you did cut off Mr Willie, you woudl be nonsexual
