I have purchased from M/s PC Progress your above memory module which I will be using with ASUS motherboard CUSL2.

The CUSL2 manual says that "ASUS motherboards support SPD (Special Presence Detect) DIMMs. This is the memory of choice for best performance vs. stability."

Please let me know - Whether or Not , the captioned Corsair Memory module purchased by me is a SPD (Special Presence Detect) DIMM.

If yes, please explain what this SPD feature implies.

Please post your replies

Thanks

"Special Presence Detect" indicates nothing. The correct term is "Serial Presence Detect" and is a system to report default memory timings to the motherboard.
