what is some good thermal paste to get for a p4 1.7ghz?

The standard answer is usually Arctic Silver III. Probably nothing is better. You can buy this most everywhere that HS/fans are sold. I usually get mine from coolerguys but many many other places have it.

arctic alumina is good too. nonconductive and easier to clean up than arctic silver. nonconductive isn't important for a p4 with the heat spreader, but its pretty good for an athlon with those exposed components.
