What is some good memory for overclocking and a socket 754 CPU?

I think my next system may be the socket 754 DFI motherboard, with some hopefully good overclocking CPU and memory. So what CPU is a good bet for decent overclocking, 3000+? Also I saw someone in the forums selling some memory that appears to be twinmos 3200, BH-5 memory. It is labeled as such, but the part number seems to verify it. I think he said he had both sticks running at 220 or better with tight timings.

So is the BH-5 stuff good enough? I guess I shouldn't have asked for the best. I just want some stuff thats plenty good enough.

What motherboard?

You want TCCD based memory, a bonus if they use BrainPower PCBs. That combo produces the highest clocking RAM available.

The cheapest TCCD/BrainPower memory you can buy is PDP w/ XBL technology; $230 at Newegg for 1GB (512MBx2). About $110 for a 512MB (256MBx2). If you're looking for 512MB total, however, it's better to go with a single 512MB stick.

Other TCCD based memory includes OCZ EL Platinum Rev2, GSkill, PQI Turbo Platinum, and a few others.

The DFI nForce 3 socket 754 motherboard. Lanparty UT 250Gb I think its called. So the TCCD stuff is better the BH-5, cause I may be able to get 2x512MB of it for under 230.00

Well then its a darn good thing you chose to NEF in my thread, hereby increasing your chances of being banned, and still not having any idea whats going on. I mean seriously, not that I don't appreciate the bump, but posting something not quite on topic to increase your post count is one thing. What you have done is just flat out NEFFING, but with a name like lamer, what can you expect. Have a nice day, and feel free to continue NEFFINF my thread to the top. You can also check my other threads, including my FS thread.
