what is some free diary /journal software?

I wan to start keeping a journal, and would like some software to help me, is there anything people here reccomend?:music:

Wordpad? Seriously, there is no real size limit, it's easy to find the end, nothing new to learn or install.

I was thinking something with like a calender that I could put daily entries in... maybe a desktop BLOG?

Well, with Word / Wordpad you have to type in the "09-26-03" yourself, but that only takes a few seconds a day. A big plain text file will be searchable by date, and a Word doc will also even let you paste in "stuff" like photos / pics.

But it's probably less fun than running BlobZilla or DiaryMaker. I made those up, but by now there should be dozens of cheesy real ones at www.tucows.com
