What is "Softcooler" in PC Alert III ??

Comes with MSI boards - supposed to cool your cpu? How does it work?

Does it slow your processor down?

I think its basicly like CPU Cooling programs like Rain and CPUIdle. A processer actually doesnt run the whole time when its on, it actually sits their on idle for a good amount of the time when in windows, etc. though in games this might not be the case. What the SoftCool program probably does is send a command to the processer telling it to turn off or go into a low idle mode so that it generates alot less heat. With CPUIdle on my computer, I generally run at about 82-87f in windows, but once I get into a game it jumps to about 105. So it is making a good dent in my cooling 🙂
