Heck, I read it after my father told me how awesome it was, and while he does work with computers, he's hardly a geek 🙂
 
It's definitely worth checking out.

You'll have to decide for yourself if it's any good (other people's opinions are SO over rated...)

Personally, I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Great series of books. It provides a laughable while still intellectual persective of reality. Very original and intelligent. IMO would be great as required reading for anyone wanting to be a scientist or a priest (2 groups of people who tend to foolishly believe we actually understand the nature of the universe). "We apologize for the inconvenience". 😀

I hope the movie doesn't butcher the book...
