What is SaveNow??

it keeps causing errors and freezing up my comp, what is it? and do i need it?

I seem to remember finding that loading on my in-law's computer as well. It gets installed by another program - an I.E. skin proggie I think.

Anyway, I found a readme file on the system for it and it seemed easy enough to uninstall.


This is what I remember the program as - I may be mistaken, may have the wrong name, or a different proggie all together. Try searching for the install directory and you should find a readme file.

Kill the service, then goto program files\savenow\ and delete the directory, next search your registry for all references to savenow and delete them all. It's a nasty little program with a HUGE memory footprint (like 15meg).
