So I go to official asus site and say 64bit it shows me stuff to DL.
one of them says SATA, I open the plus box and its says Intel RST driver blah blah. soo I grabbed it and installed it. Then being picky that I am, I was looking at my CPU usage on idle no apps open.. and it was constant 1 or 2 percent,,,,,, so I wanted to see what was taking up resources.. It turns out to be a iastore...the RST driver,, constant .5 percent to .7 to 1 percent then down again but constantly moving.
So I go let me remove this RST driver, soo I uninstalled it ,, I reboot and the usual 5 seconds it takes on the metro screen now my boot up was delayed by about 15 to 20 percent. My 15 second boot up is way more now. I thought my windowz had blown up,, eventually loaded very slow.
So now I installed the RST drivers again, I booted up and it took a while. And that is where I sit now ? Please any help for tweakboy would be appreciated. thx guys.
