punjab is a state in india, punjabi is someone who comes from that part of India, the language they speak is also called punjabi

Slight correction. I guess this would be referred to as the punjab region. This should not be confused with poon job, poon tang or any of the sort. :Q

hundreds.... literally.
15 languages are recognised by the constitution, have official status, and appear on each and every bank note. that's right, it says "100 Rupees" or whatever else it's worth, in 15 langauges! only one of which is English....

i'm punjabi actually...

it's an ethnicty, language, and provence that was split during the partition. 2/3 went to pakistan while a 1/3 remained in india.

punjabi music, while i'm sure there are other forms, the most popular is bhangra.
 
im sure u guys must have heard of Punjabi MC... and as the name suggests, he's punjabi and his music is called Bhangra..
