What is port 6666?

Some WebTV crackhead is scanning my system really closely for port 6666. What is that, DNS or UDP? I can't remember what that port is for.

I read somewhere about trojans sending out a signal saying PC infected, ping me! Then the other PC will ping to take control of the PC. Have you run a virus scanner lately?

This guy is D U M dumb.

Its no virus on my part. I'm am PRETTY secure... not foolproof, but pretty good. He is the one sending all the requests.

Odds are that he doesn't even know he's doing it. He probably has a trojan, such as Sub7, on his system. These 'bots that the kiddies use are automated and, once they plant themselves in a system, they just do their thing without the users knowledge.

I removed the IP. Thanks JTH. I already did a whois. Try and edit that as soon as possible if the mods don't like IP's announced.
