What is PfModNT? Keep on getting this error in XP Event Viewer??

At least once a day, and often more I keep on getting this PfModNT error in
the Windows XP Event Viewer, under System log. I did a search on Google,
and the few results usually mention creative soundcards? Here is the exact
error:

Date: 3/1/2004

Description:
The PfModNT service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified.

Anyone have an idea of what this error refers to? My system really hasn't
changed all that much recently, nor have I noticed any major problems. BUT,
when I play the new Unreal Tournament 2004 demo, sometimes the PC will lock
up on me after about an hour of online play with the 'Squeal of Death' from
my Speakers and my Audigy 2 ZS Soundcard. Could this be related to my
error?

Anyone have an idea?

Thanks for the link, but...... All of the suggestions that the users posted I have already tried and it makes not difference. I still get the error.

Anyone have any other ideas?

Check out EventID.net. You can enter the event ID # and the source in the search box and it will show you lists of other people's problems and solutions related to that particular event.

Sometimes this helps, sometimes not, but it's a good link to remember.
