What is paypal and how exactly does it work? How do i get my money?

Like i know its used for sending and receiving money.. but does the money stay online and u can only use it online or does it get put into your bank or sent to you?

The money will stay online in your paypal account until you A) spend it w/ an online transaction that uses Paypal, or B) you have sent it to your banking/checking account.

I'm sure that you can have Paypal send the amount to your house/business, etc, as well.
