What is OPK?

On the front of the box it says this:

If the individual software license is for a desktop operating system or application software, it also must be preinstalled on the hard drive of the fully assembled computer system, using the OEM Preinstallation Kit (OPK).

What is OPK? Nobody mentioned anything about this and I'm curious what I'm supposed to do from here regarding an install. I thought I could just install like a normal OS, but is there something extra I have to do because I got an OEM kit?

It's the 64 bit Home Premium Vista, I doubt it makes a difference, but just in case, that's what it is.

An example of OPK in use would be a recovery Vista disk from Dell, HP, etc., since those versions are OEM. In this case, you are the "OEM," or system builder, so it will work normally without OPK. I've used the OPK myself and in fact have it installed now - it's basically a way to customize an install for a specific system and/or hardware configuration. OEM is intended to only be installed on a single PC, so they're simply saying that the license is tied to the machine and you should use the OPK if you're a reseller.

gotcha, so basically I can disregard it since it's my computer and I'm not a reseller.
