what is OC ?

Hi everyone, I am new here and very curious what's OC? I knwo it stand for overclocking, what's is the purpose of oc? is it good or bad for your system?

Yep, make your system run faster than spec for no cost..

Most here have system with a good 500-1.3 ghz overclocks..

This 1700+ @ 2.4 ghz ( stock speed 1.47

ghz )

That chip isn't even manufactured by AMD, their fastest chip operates @ 2.2ghz and goes for about $300 .



A lot of other quality parts are needed to go along ( good cooling, ram... etc
