What is not set up right in my Far Cry Settings

The wooden buildings look basically white, with a little washed out texture. On my old system with my Ti 4600 I don't remember the bbuildings looking washed out. I have the advanced settings at the high level. The overall level of detail seems a bit low. My gun and arm looksok but everything else looks kind of lower quality. I am running at 1280x1024. Any ideas??
 
your graphics card (ti4600) cant handle 12x10, try 10x7. also get the 1.3 patch and make sure AA and AF are off (on your old rig, your new sli rig should handle 2xaa 4xaf 12x10 pretty good).
what graphics drivers are you using?
 
Well version 1.3 worked, everything looks perfect, thanks. There must be an update in that patch for newer nvidia cards.

One more question. I just bought Painkiller out of the bargain bin and loaded it up. When I click on the icon to start it nothing happens. I also got a message that the right cd was not in, even though disc 3 was. I have reinstalled it twice. What do you think it is? Bad Disc?
 
I orginally played it as new on 4600ti se build card and it was ok at med/high on all setting with res about same as you, obv not see nice new details i do now on n40, card was getting tired.
