What is normal temperature for a P4-1.6G CPU?

I have a P4-1.6G Intel CPU. I have been overclocking it for a while, but i checked the temperature today, and it's at 60celcius. Is that acceptable? If it's not overclocked, it's at 52celcius. I know that the 1.6G CPU should be able to OC quite a bit, but i can only get it up to 1.9G without hanging. Should i change my CPU fan?

Is your CPU a Northwood or a Williamette? Only a NW would overclock well.

Have you opened your case recently?

I ask because if it's been a while your heat sink might just be clogged with dust & need to be blown clean.

put some artic silver 5 on it, thatll reduce temps a bit.....
