You kids and your spoiled rotten easy devices.... Back in the OLD days we had to flash our DS firmware to run off a GBA device. That required to shove a small screwdriver or paperclip to bridge 2 connections on the DS. And ya'know what? We liked it!

Oh come on, DS homebrew is by far the easiest to do in the history of all consoles, google it and you will know everything in the first page.

There's actually a fairly broad amount of DS homebrew available. Stuff from Doom and Hexen to organizers.

I've used my M3 to watch movies while flying several times. Of course, ripping a retail DVD onto my DS is probably illegal according to some stupid MPAA interpretation of the law (but they can suck it).
