That political compass test isn't a very good test. The choices you have for answers sometimes don't fit your answer to the question. Some of those questions I don't know how they'd have anything to do with what you are politically.

I agree. Like the question "Do you think Religion can play a good role in schools."

My answer would be Yes in a Private School, no in a Public School.

Right there with Friedman

Are you amused one? If so you're not as libertarian as I'd like to accuse you of being. 🙂

Little bit left from dead center.

I guess that I'm a centerist-libertarian:

Your political compass
Economic Left/Right: 0.25
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -3.85

In all honesty, I don't fit into a party. I don't believe that morality should define laws all of the time.

I think abortion is wrong, but I think it should be legal
I think that taxes are too high, but that some social programs are a good thing
I think that the government is too hard on business, but I think that business should have better social and environmental ethics
I'm against social security, and think that people should donate more to charity in place of it
I'm for increasing our military, but pulling out of the pointless areas
I think the education system should be scrapped and rebuilt from scratch.

I don't know who to vote for!

They should standardize a test like this, make political candidates take it, so we would have some reliable way of figuring out who to vote for.

yea...see I need to do that sometime this year.

I tend to be split across several issues as well:

I'm pro military, pro environment
I'm anti big government, anti big corporation and I HATE affirmative action

So do what I did when I was you age - register as an Independent.
