No that long password is only used at the Berkeley seti site so you can edit/view your profile.

This is done using various third party software, since I don't keep stats perhaps somebody who does can lend so additional info here.

I think he's referring to "synched passwords" which are obviously not correlated in any way.

If you mean this site, then-
When you registered with AnandTech you had to come up with a username of your choosing with a valid email address. AnandTech then sends you your password to that email.

Obviously you have it as you are posting here.

Daz, Lordthing - I had the system email off your passwords for you(there's a link at the bottom of each profile page). If the email address isn't correct, email webmaster@teamanandtech.com, and Mika will change your password as nessisary(although he can be a bit busy, so it might not be right away).
