What is my C drive partition number ?

I am trying to restore a notebook by copying an image from a cd from inside win 2000.

the usage is

restorer.exe <drive:index> image path options

but when I use 1:1 as the drive:index it complains its an unknown partition. So what is the C drive partition/drive info.

I tried that but no joy. According to sony its 1:1, however I am running the restore from inside windows 2000.

Sorted now. Its just a win2000 issue. Works OK in real dos. I assume win2000 doesnt allow drives to be accessed in the same way as dos does.
