What is my best decision ??? (for the money)

I am thinking of upgrading my RAM. Right now I am running 2 sticks of 256mb Mushkin Level 2 (BH-5) at 200fsb with timings 2-2-2-11 on an Epox 8RDA3+ mobo in dual channel with a 1.6 mobile Barton. The one stick will go higher, but not in dc. They have been weird acting from the start, very temperamental. (and Mushkins support sucks @ss). I am happy with the OC (11*200=2200mhz) and am looking for similar results with whatever I get to replace them. I am wondering "who" here has expierience with "what" RAM and what is the Hot Ticket right now. I guess I might as well get a gig and be done with it. Thanks in advance.

For the AXP it shouldn't matter that much if you're sticking with 200 MHz FSB / RAM speed. Just get someting decent with 2-2-2 or 2-3-2, even 2.5-3-2 isn't exactly slow (and it's CHEAP).

If you're looking forward to A64 + very high RAM speeds, AT is finding good results with:
OCZ Platinum Rev2
OCZ Gold Rev3
OCZ EB
Crucial Ballistix

Those are all pretty pricey though, between 250 and 300 for a gig. To me 2-2-2 is not worth that when you can get 2.5-3-2 for $120 (when Mushkin Basic is on special at Fry's anyway :) ) unless you're planning on pushin upwards to significantly higher RAM speeds.

Thanks for the help so far, the guide has proven to be very helpful. and yes I am looking to go A64 as my next big revision, so I am looking to get something with some future potential. I am thinking either the ballistix or the OCZ platinum rev2....also looking at some of the corsair line. any other comments before I decide???
