1989 LX, 120,000 miles, 5 speed.

excellent condition. THe body is impecable with only a _tiny_ bit of rust around the bottom, you have to get on your knees to see it. Its had $1300-1400 in repairs in the last 6 months (new front brakes, rear ones tuned, two new ball joints, transmission replaced, brand new clutch kit).

I'm asking about $2300 US. I think I can possibly get more, but I don't want to wait around too long, and I also think this is a fair price.

i really haven't looked for that type of car, but that seems like a fair price, if not on the high end. i'd try http://www.kbb.com and http://www.edmunds.com

why not check your local paper's classifieds to see what comparable cars are going for. also it really doesn't matter how much you've spend on repairs in the past, it's not like you can add that cost onto the cost of the car. most people will be assuming that the car should be in that condition anyway. hope i could help.
 
Yeah it seems mid-end. Some are selling for lower, some much higher - its true that its hard to add that to the cost, but anyone buying it can see that some major problems (brakes, clutch, transmission) won't be a concern of theirs, and that is worth something...
