I have an older IBM Thinkpad running W95. When I pop in my Ethernet II Credit card adapter the mouse pointer turns into an hourglass and stays that way. Ctrl-Alt-Del to access the Close programs windows reveals

Is this a file, program or what?
Find files returns 0 files found when I search on msqsrv32, even after a reboot.
Can some of you check your machines and tell me if you have this file? Or, anyone have any other ideas?

Thanks!
Edit: I changed the title since this doesn't seem to be limited to PCMCIA and notebook type computers.🙂

I have a thinkpad 600 with a Xircon ethernet PCMCIA adapter. That program is not on my machine either through ctr-alt-del or doing a search.

damn.. I hate that program..
MSQSVR32.. its a pain in the butt. Anyway I found it happening on my 98SE when I disabled the windows login entry (the lame login entry) by setting it to "windows logon" it would happen. Once I put it back to itself the error no longer bothered me. Check Deja.com and search for it.

I dont know why it does that too.
