What is more of a possibility for the 2012 Mac Mini?

If there is one, what would Apple most likely include? A GeForce 640M or a 640M LE? And how much memory?

Would they even make a discrete card option at all?

Ice D it is a good question.

base with intel 4000.

I wonder if they will change the form factor just a bit. apple has really pretty much abandoned desktops with no updates for the iMac the Mac Mini and a so called Mac Pro update last month that has a lot of apple heads muttering quite a bit.

Seems to me they could hold off on the mac mini and the mac pro til 2013 and merge them .

creating the famed max mini / mini mac pro. Also keep the iMac and update it in a few months like oct. but who knows.

I'd guess simple spec bumps on the 2011 models. USB3. GPU bump for the mid-range models. HD4000 for the server and base models. Maybe small CPU bumps overall.

I'm somewhat thinking of buying a Mini in the next year or so just for using as a media center\player. I do hope they at least put USB 3.0 in there.
