After running netstat I see this as a connection.

I did too... ctrl-alt-del, select task manager, and tell me if you have something calle COM_~1.EXE running. Also see if there's an IRC server listed when you do netstat.

ds = Directory Services. It's the service for file sharing and such with Win2K/XP and runs on port 445.
