I ran msi's fuzzy logic 4 and it tells me that my fsb speed is 133Mhz and my memory clock is 100Mhz.

should my memory clock be 133Mhz also?
i can't find any place in the bios to change this setting. (btw, i'm using pc2100 )

It should be 133MHz, but the BIOS may not be setting it right. What board or system do you have? It may also be that the fuzzy logic software just isn't reporting correctly. Many boards now show you the clock speed of the memory during bootup.

i have the MSI k7d Master.
Link to mobo

i can't find anything in the bios that allows me to change the memory clock speed either.
All i can see is the CPU/PCI clock settings.

Also, i don't know if this is relevant or not, but i just tried WCPUID to see what it says, and it shows the following:
"System Bus 266.68 MHz DDR".
So does this mean my memory clock is running at 133MHz?

See, software is often wrong. :) Third party software always seems to work better, beyond just basic features and appearance, than what mobo makers provide.

It appears there are no options for controlling memory, so it should normally operate synchronously with the frontside bus as long as the memory SPD reports the ability to run at that speed. Server boards (dual processor boards included) tend to have limited capability for setting things "out of spec" in any way. Odd that they provide overclocking options though, although they're bad since they overclock the PCI bus.

System Bus is your FSB, not your memory speed. DDR stands for "dual data rate" and this term applies to both your FSB speed and your memory speed. Open WCPUID and click on the arrow in the top tight-hand corner. It will give you date, time, chipset info, and memory speed. This will tell you how fast your memory is running.

opening up the arrow at the corner shows me time, chipset info, and amount of RAM.
the field where the memory speed should be shown is blank.

is there another program that will allow me to check how fast my RAM is running?
