Probably a dumb question but I'm really clueless on this.

OK, I made some money from my SPP at work but can't get to that money until my address is confirmed. I have a few options. One is driver's license (I recently moved to NC from OR and still have OR license), one is voter's registration card (hasn't come back yet), and third is "current real property tax assessment (real estate only) reflecting your name as the owner".

Do they mean basically the property tax bill? Or what?

In some places, your tax assessment notice and your tax bill are two different things.

ie. here, Ontario

They mean a property tax bill which shows the property address and your name on it.
