What is market price per share, earing per share?

Can someone tell me what those terms are and where I can find that information?

Also, where can I find the number of common shares issued by a company?

Market price per share just means how much one share of the company stock currently sells for. It's the number printed in the stock tables in your daily newspaper.

Earnings per share is how much profit the company made for each share of stock that exists. It's useful to compare that to the market price. A popular comparison is called the "price/earnings ratio" which is the market price divided by the earnings per share. The higher the number, the more "expensive" the stock is with respect to profits.
