I'm retiring a BX based machine running a ASUS P2B board and turning it into a server/linux/backup type box... Not totally sure yet.
But... I want to boost the storage by adding one, or two 100+GB drives. I'm thinking that the P2B won't support drives of that size or larger. Or can it????
If not, I'm assuming I coul dget a raid adapter and that would enable large drive support???
Anybody have experience with this on a P2B/bx board???
And yes, I realise I can build a new low end box, with better performance. But that's not the nature of my question... Just trying to build a solution for myself using existing hardware and save a few bucks.
Thanks in advance.
