What is it with sitting in the back?

I work as a projectionist, whenever I look into a theatre about 15-20 minutes before a movie I see that about 80% of the time
the people are sitting in the back row. Now some of our theatres are pretty big, and the back row does not offer the best seat in
the house but yet people still sit there. Just the other day I saw a school bus empty with about 6 kids, out of the entire bus
they were all sitting in the two back rows? Is there something I'm missing here or why do people like the back row so much?

Uhhh no this happens even when the theatre is sold out. IE they let the lines in and everyone RUSHES
to the back seats.

Seriously the same. I have gotten to a movie late and the only place to sit was in the back. Only people on the back row were young teens and they were with their bf/gf and making out. Trust me.

I can trust you, but it doesn't happen as often as you think especially not with sold out theatres. Usually during the weekday shows with very few people in them.

I am not talking about anything other than making out. Forget the fingering and BJ stuff. Just plain ole kids kissing. I see it at every movie I go to that I have to sit in the back at.

I'll sit in the back when I'm riding in a friend?s car. And they're in the front! Like being chauffeured around. "BITCH turn right!"

in the movies how about nobody talking behind you, nobody kicking your seat, nobody throwing candy, popcorn, etc at you, and a few more things...

When i was in elementary school i asked a couple kids why it was better to sit in the back of the bus. their answer: the ride is bumpier, more like a roller coaster. I don't know anything about that, the reason i sat back there was to get far away from the smelly bus driver and the communist dictatorship on her bus.

You also were less likely to get a green slip by being rowdy if you jumped out the back door, instead of making a dash to the front door when the bus driver pulled over to start yelling or pass down punishments.
