For instance, my bf received his check via direct deposit from work.
He checked his bank balance and noticed it was very low, despite just getting paid.
He shrugged it off and said, "Oh well."
I said fvck that, and I called the bank. I set up an online account for him, and viewed his buying history. Some company called ELECTRACASHCOM had charged him a good amount of money for something he never agreed to.
And on top of that, he went over because of that and the bank hit him with a overdraft fee.
I called electracash, some scam company, and told them to take the fee off. After a bit they agreed and the money will be on his account in 1-3 business days. Then I called the bank and told the bank to take off the fee because it was some scam that caused the overdraft fee.
They said they would. Problem solved.
He was just going to lose half of his check. Ugh.
Sorry.
