ill break it down.
there are five of us
lets say im guy 3 in pecking order
Guy 1 mails it in, lazy..incompetent but not a hardass and not one to criticize..not a BAD person
Guy2 knows more than guy 1, saves Guy 1's bacon time and again(and really runs the show)..but at the same time loathes guy 1
Im Guy 3 and pretty much just show up and work..friends with Guy 2,but he is my superior and about 18yrs my senior.We dont always agree but we are friends
Guy 4...out of his mind, useless,but crazy enough to be dangerous...as vindictive as they come...a time bomb.Hates guy 1 ith a passion, doesnt trust guy 2, or even me i would imagine.Huge wave maker,bomb thrower, very sensitive, i really feel for his situation...but its beyond me.
Guy 5...same as Guy 3 cept hes the youngest by nine years...(me) not much of a boat rocker.

anyhow we are supposed to be a team....

That makes so much sense it isn't even funny. He's just trying to either a) keep his job or b) move up in position. Unless of course, he's really just crazy.

I wouldn't stress it - stuff like that happens at every job.
